About TIG INFORMATICA SL

Our Story, Mission & Approach

An international company dedicated to making financial knowledge accessible, practical, and relevant for Canadians.

Our History

Building Financial Literacy Since 2016

TIG INFORMATICA SL was established in 2016 with a clear purpose: to bridge the gap between complex financial theory and the practical skills people need to manage their money with confidence. The founding team recognized that many individuals, particularly those without a background in finance, struggled to find reliable, actionable guidance that addressed their actual circumstances.

From our base in Madrid, Spain, we expanded our reach to serve clients internationally, with a particular focus on the Canadian market. Canada presented a unique opportunity due to its distinct financial instruments, tax-advantaged accounts, and regulatory framework. We saw that Canadians needed educational content and consulting services built specifically around their financial ecosystem rather than generic advice drawn from other jurisdictions.

Over the years, we have developed a suite of programs covering financial planning, investment fundamentals, budget management, and advanced strategies. Each offering reflects feedback from past participants and evolving market conditions. Our team continuously updates course materials and consulting frameworks to ensure they remain aligned with the realities of the Canadian financial landscape.

What Drives Us

Our Mission & Core Values

Everything we do is shaped by a commitment to making financial knowledge practical, transparent, and genuinely useful for people in Canada.

Our Mission

To provide clients across Canada with access to high-quality financial knowledge and practical tools that enable them to make well-informed decisions. We aim to equip individuals with the skills to manage their resources effectively, understand the financial instruments available to them, and approach their financial future with greater clarity and preparedness. Our mission is rooted in the belief that financial literacy should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their starting point.

Transparency & Reliability

We believe that trust is earned through openness. Every service we offer comes with clear descriptions of what is included, how it works, and what outcomes participants can realistically expect. We do not use exaggerated claims or hidden conditions.

Practical Applicability

Theory has its place, but our priority is that every participant walks away with skills they can use right away. Our courses include hands-on assignments, real scenarios, and frameworks designed for immediate implementation in daily financial decisions.

Canadian Market Relevance

Generic financial advice often falls short when applied to specific markets. We ensure that all our content reflects Canadian tax structures, investment vehicles like TFSAs and RRSPs, provincial variations, and the regulatory environment that shapes financial life in Canada.

Client-Centered Approach

Every individual has different goals, resources, and comfort levels. We take the time to understand each client's situation before recommending a path forward. This means fewer cookie-cutter solutions and more personalized guidance that actually fits your life.

Continuous Improvement

Financial markets evolve, regulations change, and new tools emerge. We review and update our materials on a regular cycle to ensure that what we teach today remains relevant tomorrow. Participant feedback plays a central role in shaping each iteration of our programs.

Education Over Promotion

We are an educational and consulting company, not a sales platform for financial products. Our role is to help you understand your options and develop the skills to evaluate them independently. We do not promote or endorse specific financial instruments.

How We Teach

Our Educational Methodology

Our approach combines structured learning with real-world application. Rather than presenting financial topics in isolation, we build each program as a connected sequence where concepts reinforce one another. Participants start with foundational knowledge and progressively move toward more nuanced decision-making frameworks.

Every course includes a mix of live online sessions, pre-recorded lectures, and hands-on assignments. The live components allow participants to ask questions and work through problems in real time with our specialists. The recorded materials provide flexibility for reviewing content at your own pace. Assignments are drawn from realistic financial scenarios relevant to Canada, so the skills you develop during the course translate directly to your own financial decisions.

Structured Curriculum

Each program follows a clear learning path from fundamentals through advanced application.

Blended Learning Format

Combine live sessions with on-demand content for maximum flexibility across Canadian time zones.

Practical Assignments

Every module includes exercises based on real financial scenarios from the Canadian context.

Ongoing Feedback

Specialists provide guidance throughout the program and respond to individual questions.

What We Cover

Our Key Areas of Expertise

Our services and educational programs span four primary areas, each designed to address a different dimension of personal financial management.

Financial Planning

Our financial planning services help you build a comprehensive view of where you stand today and where you want to be in the future. We analyze income, expenses, savings patterns, and existing investments to create a structured plan that accounts for Canadian tax-advantaged accounts and provincial considerations.

This is not a one-time event. We work with clients over multiple sessions, adjusting the plan as circumstances evolve. The result is a living document that grows with you and adapts to changes in your life and the broader economic environment.

Investment Education

Our investment courses demystify the world of investing for Canadians at every level. Beginning with the core concepts of risk, return, and diversification, we progressively introduce participants to the asset classes and vehicles most relevant in Canada, including index funds, ETFs, bonds, and GICs.

Participants learn to evaluate investment options independently, understand the role of registered accounts, and develop a portfolio approach that aligns with their personal risk tolerance and timeline.

Budget Management

Managing day-to-day finances is the foundation of long-term financial health. Our budget management programs teach practical methods for tracking income and expenses, identifying patterns, and setting achievable savings goals that account for the cost of living in different Canadian provinces.

Participants build their own budgeting system during the course, using templates and tools we provide. By the end, you have a working framework you can maintain independently.

Advanced Strategies

For clients who have already built a foundation, our advanced consulting focuses on more sophisticated financial techniques. This includes deeper risk analysis, scenario planning, and case studies drawn from real market situations that illustrate how different strategies perform under various conditions.

These sessions are delivered one-on-one, allowing the specialist to tailor the discussion entirely to your portfolio, goals, and the specific questions you bring to the table.

Our Focus

Why We Focus on Canada

Canada has a financial ecosystem that differs meaningfully from those in the United States, Europe, or other regions. The presence of unique instruments like the Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) and Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), combined with provincial tax variations, means that financial strategies need to be specifically calibrated for the Canadian context.

Many of the educational resources available online are built for American audiences and do not address the nuances that Canadian residents encounter. Our decision to focus on Canada was driven by this gap. We saw an opportunity to create programs that speak directly to the questions Canadians ask: How should I split contributions between my TFSA and RRSP? What happens with capital gains in a non-registered account? How does the Canadian Pension Plan fit into my retirement picture?

By narrowing our focus, we can go deeper into the topics that matter most. Our specialists stay current on changes to Canadian financial regulations, and we adjust our course materials accordingly. When a new federal budget introduces changes to contribution limits or tax brackets, our programs reflect those updates in the next cycle.
